GRANT REVIEW PROCESS

Grant applications are accepted throughout the year but are reviewed semi-annually.
Application deadlines are March 31 and September 30.

The Grant Review Committee reviews all applications.  At the Committee’s discretion, a site visit may be requested as part of the proposal evaluation process.  The Executive Director will contact the requesting organization during the proposal analysis if the Board of Directors has any questions to be answered.

A grant award letter indicating the Board’s positive response to the request and the amount awarded will be sent via email.
A Grant Agreement is to be signed and returned promptly to RCCF by the grantee after receiving the award letter. The Grant Agreement outlines the mutual responsibilities of both the grantor and the grantee to measure the success of the program.  When the grantee returns the signed original Grant Agreement to the Rock County Community Foundation via the online grant portal, work on the grant project can begin. Terms of the grant are for a time limit of 6 months unless RCCF is otherwise notified by the grantee that an extension is needed.
Upon completion of the project a final report must be filed with details about the grant outcome, invoice or receipts for reimbursement and ideally a photo of your grant activity. Once this report is complete a check will be sent to the grantee. The report is available on the grant applicant portal.

Help promote Rock County Community Foundation

Picture
We ask that you promote the Foundation's support in any interview or publication your project may receive.  We also ask that appropriate visual signage is attached to the project recognizing the foundations partnership with your organization and its project.  This helps others connect with what the foundation can do for potential future projects. If we can help provide logos or graphics to make this possible, please ask us, we are happy to help!
Are you eligible and want to apply, Due March 31 and September 30
The Rock County Community Foundation (RCCF) formerly Luverne Area Community Foundation, started in 1984 as a healthcare foundation to help support the needs of the local hospital.  It became a community foundation with a broader mission in 2008 supporting the needs of Rock County.  To be inclusive of this mission the name was updated in 2026 with the same continued mission; to be a resource where ideas get unstuck and a thriving culture of giving is nurtured.
